Autonomous AI personal assistant — built from scratch
Nova is a fully autonomous AI system I designed and built end-to-end. It orchestrates 33+ specialised agents, runs multi-step coding pipelines, manages email and scheduling, and continuously improves itself through a self-reflection engine — all powered by a custom FastAPI backend with real-time WebSocket streaming and a PostgreSQL + pgvector memory layer.
Daily automated code-review pipeline that scores, prioritises, and autonomously implements improvements across three codebases — then commits, pushes, and briefs via Telegram.
Each agent carries its own model, context, and personality — covering coding, ERP, language coaching, research, DevOps, and more, with depth-limited delegation between them.
Observes its own outputs, surfaces patterns in its behaviour, and proposes rewrites to its own prompts — the system grows smarter with every interaction.
Dynamically routes between OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, MiniMax, and local models based on task complexity and cost — with per-agent overrides and a hard spend cap.
